If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just not quite yourself, therapy can be a safe space to explore what’s going on and find ways to feel better. You don’t have to have a diagnosis, or a serious problem-anyone looking for support, understanding or personal growth can benefit
What kind of issues do you help with?
I work with a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and the impact of past adverse experiences like childhood trauma or sexual violence. If you’re not sure just ask! I’m happy to evaluate whether my approach fits your needs.
What can I expect from a therapy session?
Sessions are confidential and offer a safe non-judgemental approach which means that everything we discuss will stay between us. You will set the pace and we’ll explore feelings and experiences together and use tools tailored to your goals, whether to gain insight, managing symptoms or building resilience.
How long does therapy last?
Every person’s journey is unique. Some people find short term work helpful, others, depending on their presenting issues might benefit more from long-term work. We will discuss what feels right for you as we go.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone in therapy, however, there are exceptions where there might risk of harm to oneself or others, which might mean reaching out to other parties to keep you safe. I will always discuss with you first wherever possible.
